Like all magnetic meters it can be used for measuring the flow rate of all liquids that have electrical conductivity (a few µS/cm). It is composed of a probe that is installed in such a way that its axis forms a 90° angle with the axis of the main pipe. The insertion electromagnetic sensors are built in three models. Cylindrical aluminium enclosure may be rotated by 90° around the junction box axis without opening it. The MC 308 can be delivered either in compact or in separate version. In separate version the maximum distance between sensor and MC308 depends on conductivity of the liquid and the maximum is 100 m. It has on an LCD display and the keyboard.
